From Súsqueda, along the River Ter, to any of the reservoirs in the Muga basin, such as Boadella, the entire reservoir is of interest. Boadella is especially loved for its Yacht Club facilities and the reservoir dam.

 

The reservoir covers almost 100 ha. The dam is 60 metres high from the bed of the reservoir, and 230 m long. It holds 62,000,000 m³ of water that irrigates 10,000 ha of the Empordà plain. It ensures the supply of drinking water to Figueres. A power station capable of producing 8,000,000 kW per year has also been built.
